Harvest yields and drying as an API service

Our AI-supported yield estimation uses a specially developed crop model based on satellite and weather data. The yield and characteristics of the silage or hay crop are calculated taking into account drying models and weather forecasts. Our grassland API provides our customers with harvest forecasts at the time of mowing, as well as the entire drying process up to the finished crop as silage or hay for the transmitted field boundary.

  • Absolute Harvest yields in kg/m²

    Our AI model is specifically designed to forecast absolute yield in metric units. This enables an absolute comparison between regions or between fields in a region. Alternatives available on the market are often only capable of estimating relative differences based on NDVI or similar.
  • Specific Site-specific valuation

    The yield can be used as a control variable for the optimisation of machines such as mowers, rakes, tedders, forage harvesters, loader wagons or balers thanks to the site-specific evaluation and zoning of the field.
  • Efficient Optimised planning & logistics

    The harvest forecast is carried out as a ‘remote assessment’ of the field. This makes it possible to optimise the entire harvest chain, from mowing to transport, without the need for an on-site visit.

Apply research! Technology

AI-powered processing of satellite and weather data predicts grassland growth and estimates dry and fresh matter yields. Our deep learning models provide daily predictions with a resolution of 10×10 metres and a Pearson correlation of 0.9. The crop yield in combination with precise weather forecasts enables the calculation of the drying process of the forage. These technologies were developed in cooperative research projects, validated in exact trials and form the basis for optimised fertilisation, logistics and forage quality.
